Fair Starts September 4th – 27th

 

Since 1922, the Los Angeles County Fair has been a staple of family entertainment in the Inland Empire and it’s surrounding communities. Located at the Pomona Fairplex, the L.A. County Fair encompasess 543 acres of land and contains various attractions and vendors. While the Fair isn’t physically the same as it was back in the early part of the 20th centrury, the timeless values of family, friends, food and entertainment are still upheld within the current version of the Fair.

People can find many rides and carnival games in the Fun Zone, while others can explore the various exhibits like the Millard Sheets Art Center or Wally Parks’ NHRA Museum. The Big Red Barn section of the Fair is home to many farm animals for people of all ages to learn about, view and even pet!

Great food can be had at just about every corner of the Fair, ranging from traditional fair foods like corn dogs, ice cream and barbeque turkey legs to creative items such as the cinnamon fireball texas doughnut, fried peanut butter pickle and the funnel cake burger. There are a vast variety of shops and vedors selling various goods, technology and handmade merchandise. Entertainment is abundant at the Fairplex, as live bands covering all genres of music can be found in various areas of the Fair. Additionally, the Fairplex hosts the End of Summer Concert Series featuring some of your favorite artists!
